IrishPlayer.com closes

Last week when we visited IrishPlayer.com, an Irish games reviews
fan website, we found a notice that said the site would be closing down
at the end of February 2003.

Its editor, Jamie McCormick who has being running the site sense
about 1997, said on the statement that the site “has become
unfeasible to maintain” and it would be “closing down in a phased
basis”. The notices went on to say the site would remain active for
two months without updates, however when we visited the site today it
was offline with only a “404 - File not found” error page in its
place.

Gamire.com would like to wish IrishPlayer’s editor and staff well in what ever they are now doing.
