The original is an absolutly fantastic fps and the addition of melee weapons is something to look forward to. Left 4 Dead has taken up a large portion of my last few months and I sure as hell can't wait to get my hands on this. Just a shame that Valve have decided tot stick a 50 euro plus price tag on it even though they repeatedly promised to support the original game. Just another case of screwing the gamers and I'm surprised that Valve of all people would be behind it.
