NEWS: Mas Effect 2 PS3 Demo

At long last PS 3 owners will finally get to experience BioWare’s truly exceptional science fiction RPG Mass Effect 2 starting with the release of the demo next Wednesday, December 22nd.

The full game is released January 21st and is certain to be one fo 2011s hottest titles PS3 owners.

EA also today confirmed that Mass Effect 3 would be released simultaneously on Xbox, PS3 and PC in Holiday 2011.

NEWS: Uncharted 3 Offfically Announced

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe confiremd that Uncharted 3 is on its way. Rumours regarding the game have been rife isnce part 2 dropped but now not only do we have an official announcement but also a pretty shiny looking trailer.. This time around Nathan Drake finds himself searching for the fabled Atlantis of the Sands. A journey which will take him across the Arabian desert and find him and his friend/mentor Sully up against an evil and shadowy occult group. Expect plenty of feats of daring, more action than you can shake a stick at, an involving story and Sully betraying Drake only to redeem himself in the end.

NEWS: Lara Croft Returns

The Tomb Raider franchise remains one of the most recognisable and loved franchises in the history of gaming which since its original incarnation has resulted in numerous entries in the franchise. After the underwhelming Underworld in 2008 the franchise’s console future seemed in doubt especially with the release earlier this year of the downloadable Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Out Today.

Crystal Dynamics today announced that the next entry in the series will be titled Tomb Raider and will be an origin story telling how Lara came to be such an adventurous souls. Details regarding the game are thin at the minute but Crystal Dynamics did release a short description of the plot, “After a brutal storm destroys the boat she was travelling on, a frightened young woman is left washed ashore on an unknown beach. On her own but not alone she has only one goal, to survive.”
The game will be showcased in January’s issue of Game Informer which is due out in the coming week and features a truly awesome picture of the new Lara Croft.
