NEWS: Dishonored Dated

Bethesda S today announced that Dishonored, the supernatural assassin action game under development at Arkane Studios, will be available in Ireland on October 12, 2012. Developed under the direction of co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith, Dishonored is slated for release on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Games for Windows.

Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where steampunk- inspired technology and otherworldly forces coexist in the shadows. You are Corvo, the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress who has been murdered. Framed for the crime, you become an infamous assassin, known by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is besieged by plague and ruled by a corrupt government armed with frightening technologies, dark forces bestow supernatural abilities upon you – but at what cost? The truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city, and the life you once had is gone forever.

Creatively eliminate your enemies with Dishonored’s flexible combat system as you combine supernatural abilities with weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your targets under the cover of darkness or boldly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.

NEWS: Skullgirls Coming to PC Later this Year

Reverge Labs’ have announced that their debut title Skullgirls will available to PC gamers before the year is out. The game will be available through digital distributors including Steam, Origin, GameFly and GamersGate,

The PC version will include a number of updates including in-game movelists, additional tutorials, a retuned single player AI, enhanced leaderboards and additional multi-player regions.

VIDEO: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Reveal Trailer

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the latest in the hugely successful franchise and with just a dew months till it’s release the hype machine is going into overdrive with the debute of the teaser trailer.

The first trailer for the game shows that Sgt. Frank Woods from Black Ops is still alive and kicking in 2025. The trailer makes it clear that this entry in the series will take on a futuristic slant which should make for some interesting gameplay.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launches on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on November 13, 2012.

NEWS: Free Premium Week on Quake Live

NEWS: Max Payne 3 Download Content Announced

Today we’re happy to announce Max Payne 3 downloadable content plans with a full lineup of multiplayer content planned for release this summer and beyond, starting with the Local Justice Map Pack coming in June. Players will also be able to order the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass to get all of the upcoming DLC at a special discounted rate, compared to purchasing each pack individually. Starting today, the Rockstar Pass can be pre-ordered for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network from Best Buy or GameStop in the United States (or pre-ordered for PSN directly from the PlayStation Store).

The Rockstar Pass grants you access to all upcoming Max Payne 3 DLC and will be available for 2400 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE), or £19.99 (PlayStation Network and PC) – over a 35% discount compared to purchasing the content individually. Once purchased, the Rockstar Pass enables gamers to download all DLC releasing through the end of 2012 via the in-game store as soon as it is made available on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, or PC.

The Local Justice Map Pack, coming in June, will include the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been unveiled earlier than expected with information concerning the latest in the record breaking franchise has been dated for November 13. The official trailer is still unavailable but is expected to go live later today.

NEWS: Skyrim Kinect Patch Released Today

Bethesda, will from today onward all gamers everywhere to embrace the Dragon within. The Kinect update will add over 200 voice recognition commands to the game.

NEWS: MGS HD For Vita Dated

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for Vita has been rumored to have a launch window of “late June” for Irish gamers. This would coincides with the North American date of June 12 which is currently listed on amazon.

Unfortuantly Metal Gear Solid HD for the Vita will not include the PSP title Peace Walker.

VIDEO: God of War: Ascension Teaser Trailer

In a move that surprised no one Sony have officially announced another in the God of War franchise. Titled, God of War: Ascension the game will act as an origions story for everyones favorite killing machine Kratos.

God of War: Ascension will be available in early 2013.
