If microsoft doesnt drop the price on the 360 then there just dumb, ps3 has alot more features now at a competing price. A 4gb xbox or a 120 gb ps3 which also has blueray.

It’s a huge lie that piracy kills the gaming market. Many of the pirated PC games are downloaded because there was no demo of the game and then are bought later if the user decides they like the game, or if the pirate decides the game is so good that the developers deserve his/her money (usuall happens to support indie developers).

It’s the same with music… so many people find new bands or genres of music because they download it. I myself found my favourite band and some of my most favourite video games through pirating and now buy them whenever I can.

It’s also not a loss like it is stealing from someone’s home… it’s a crime against corporations (as if they don’t have enough money as it is) that only ’steals’ digital things that can theoretically be copied and distrubuted infinitely without subtracting from it’s digital source. It’s sick to hear rapists getting only 10 years and then a hacker stealing money from a bank or business (which is not pirating I know) and getting 20 years because the company could afford to build a harsh case.
